plant cells, like any other cell, need a continuous supply of enery to live. if a cell stop functioning it dies and eventually the whole plant or systems dies.

plant cells can do both respiration and photosyntheis, whil animal cells can only do respiration, no photosynthesis.. :D

Plant cells do go through certain types of Respiration. This is because like some animals, plants can extract energy from food molecules, this energy is called glucose. They do this process through cellular respiration.

Plant cells do need respiration because respiration gives out energy to the plant cells and because plant cells give us oxygen and we give plant cells carbon dioxide.

Do plants cells or animal cells carry out cellular respiration?

Yes. Plants and animals need energy. Energy must therefore be made in the cells. No, only animal cells carry on cellular respiration.animal cells carryon cellular respiration. plant cells carry out photosynthesis which is the opposite of respiration.

What types of cell does cellular respiration occur?

All cells need energy, so all cells undergo cellular respiration.

What makes human cells different from plant cells?

The human and the plant cells have different structers Cell wall. It presence in plant cells but not in animal cells. It maintains the shape of the plant cells and protect in from bursting. Chloroplast. Green pigment found in the plant cells that captures light for the process of photosynthesis. It becomes like a sac and occupies 96%or98% of the cell And plant cells do contain mitochondria. They need to carry out respiration and need energy for growth and little movement too.

Do plants need to carry out cellular respiration?

Plants, like the majority of evolved organisms, do use cellular respiration in order to convert energy stored in chemical bonds into usable energy. They do not use it for energy from the sun; this is photosynthesis. Plants do go through photosynthesis more than cellular respiration, so the net effect is a production of glucose and oxygen and consumption of water and carbon dioxide.

Do plants cells need to carry out respiration?

yes because plants themselves respire carbon dioxide and realse oxygen.
