To get better opportunity for growth and development

Seeds need to be moved away from the parent plant to reduce competition for resources like sunlight, water, and nutrients. This increases the chances of successful germination and growth by reducing overcrowding and ensuring a wider distribution of the species. Additionally, dispersal helps prevent inbreeding and allows for genetic diversity within the population.

∙ 14y agoPlants need soil and sunlight, and more of these resources are available if the plants are dispersed over a wide area. If they are all growing close together, they have to compete for a limited amount of soil and sunlight.
There would be a severe competition for sunlight, water, minerals, and space.
As a result the seeds would not grow into healthy plants.

∙ 6y agoSprouting close to the parent plant could result in cross-pollination... Dispersing seeds so they land some distance from the parent plant makes it more likely the seed will produce a more healthy plant, and it will more likely survive to maturity.

∙ 15y agobecause after the plant needs to be dropped out in it's own freedom so that's why

If the seeds only fell around the parent plant and germinated there, it would create overcrowded conditions. There would be too many plants competing for sunlight, and too many would die.yes many would die By the seeds dispersing further away from the plant, more stand a higher chance of survival.
When a plant releases its seeds, it is called seed dispersal. This process allows the seeds to be transported away from the parent plant, increasing the chances of successful germination and growth in a new location.
Seed dispersal is the way seeds are spread from one place to another. This helps plants grow in new locations and not compete for resources in their parent plant's area. Methods of seed dispersal include wind, animals, water, and explosive mechanisms.
The two main functions of fruit for a plant are to protect and disperse seeds. Fruits help protect seeds from environmental stress, predation, and damage. They also aid in seed dispersal by attracting animals that eat the fruit and then spread the seeds through their droppings.
Rambutan seeds are dispersed through animals that eat the fruit and then excrete the seeds away from the parent plant. This helps in the natural spread and propagation of rambutan trees in the wild.

because they need to make a new plant
Sticktight seeds have small barbs or hooks that easily attach to the fur or feathers of passing animals. These barbs help the seeds to be carried away from the parent plant when animals brush against them.
