It makes you laugh because people have VERY sensitive nerve endings and a light touch of hand could activate the nerve endings, and when they activate, you start to giggle, and then eventually laugh!

It's a nervous reaction, to a surprise.

Also tickling stimulates sensory neurons that tell you that you are aroused, it is an involuntary reaction to over-stimulation.

Because when you tickle yourself, you know where you're tickling so it's not a surprise and your nerves aren't surprised. But when someone else tickles you, you usually don't know exactly where they are planning on tickling you, and sometimes you don't even know they're gonna tickle you at all! Therefore, your nerves are more surprised and it tickles.

People laugh when they get tickled even if they dont like is because, there is a nerve inside of you that pretty much makes you laugh. Most of the time i dont like to be tickled either, but that nerve inside of me makes me laugh!! I know for a fact that you people out there laugh to. So dont say you dont laugh when you are being tickled

The human body responds to the tickle sensation through stimulation of the muscles to release endorphins and cause involuntary twitching or jerking movements and often laughter.
