What is metapora and give you examples?

"Metaphor" is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable. An example would be "time is a thief," where time is compared to a thief to convey the idea that time steals moments from our lives. Another example is "he has a heart of stone," where the person's emotional coldness is likened to a heart made of stone.

What is a fingerprinting source?

Fingerprinting is a scientific technique based on the fact that each person has a unique, identifying fingerprint. Fingerprint analysis has a variety of uses including criminal investigation, security access and genomic research. For example a fingerprint source could be taken from a crime scene where a thief has used a door. The door handle will hold a record of the theifs fingerprint and when analysed can be compared against a database to see if the criminal has comitted any previous crimes. This makes finding and arresting the suspect much easier. Hope this helps

Why would DNA fingerprinting be good to use in solving a crime?

You can do this by viewing a polymerase chain reaction. The PCR is used to amplify DNA fragments and then are drawn through a gel using an electrical field which seperates the frangments into bands of differing lengths. That process is called electrophoresis. The bands can be visualized with dyes and compared to the DNA evidence left at the crime scene.
