The light reactions of photosynthesis require light in order to initiate the reactions. The light serves as a source of energy which can excite the electrons in chlorophyll and make them go through the electron transport chain. This chain brings in protons to the thylakoid lumen which can power the ATP synthase and produce ATP by photophosphorylation. The electrons end up reducing NADP+ to NADPH. The ATP and the NADPH produced will be used in the Calvin cycle.
The chlorophyll in the thylakoids are located on the proteins called photosystems. There are two photosystems on the electron transport chain and both require light energy to excite the electrons enough in order to make chlorophyll lose the electrons. Seeing as to how there is no daylight at night, the light reactions cannot take place because they cannot be initiated.
It occus during the day because there is sunlight presented. If there is no sunlight, there will be no photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis requires sunlight to work, so it cannot proceed without the sun being out i.e. only during the daytime.
Beacuse the plants use the energy from the sun to turn into their own energy and food, glucose is involed to, somewhere
Because they need light energy to photosynthesize which they get during day time.
photosynthesis needs light to work, without it nothing happens
Because photosynthesis requires sunlight.
Most types of photosynthesis (C3 & C4) occur only during the day, however plants that use CAM photosynthesis open their stomata during the night to take in the gases essential for photosynthesis withoug losing the water in the cells. They then use the CO2 to produce glucose throughout the day.
the thylakoid membranes of the chloroplasts
as photosynthesis can only take place in day as it uses sun its source of energy ...............
They convert CO2 to O2 during the day, and the opposite during the night.
The sugar produced during photosynthesis is glucose.
day
Yes. For Photosynthesis to occur one of the components required is light (often writien above the arrow of the equation). 6CO2 + 6H2O ==> C6H12O6 + 6O2. Because the sun expells light during the day then photosynthesis can occur during the day. :) Yes. The carbon dioxide produced during respiration during day time is used up for photosynthesis. However during night, the rate of respiration exceeds the rate of photosynthesis due to unavailability of adequate sunlight.

Because there is only sun during the day
In photosynthesis energy from the sun gets used to make food(sugar)
plants respire during the day as well the rate of respiration is lower than the rate of photosynthesis in the day
Rate of photosynthesis would become lower but it is rare on land .
the thylakoid membranes of the chloroplasts
both photosynthesis and cellular respiration occurs during the day, however, during the night when there is no sunlight only cellular respiration occurs.
It is preferably done during the day, when the sunlight is plentiful.
Well you need to tell me that why am on this stupid web site
