Actually there are two completing forces at work here. Semen is composed of sperm, water and several proteins and enzymes. One protein is a coagulating protein, the purpose of which is to make sure that the semen stays in a mass inside the mate and doesn't run back out. One of the enzymes is a de-coagulating enzyme which is supposed to dissolve the coagulating protein after some time, releasing the sperm bound up in the coagulated mass. This combination dramatically improves the chances of impregnation. In the shower the de-coagulating enzyme gets washed away rather quickly, leaving behind the coagulating protein, thus instant spermy glue.
The gel-like substance inside a cell that holds organelles and contains chemicals is called cytoplasm. Cytoplasm is a semi-fluid substance that fills the cell and provides a medium for the organelles to carry out their functions.
The gel-like substance located between the endoderm and ectoderm is called the mesoglea. It provides structure and support to the body wall of various organisms such as cnidarians like jellyfish.
The gel-like substance inside a cell is called cytoplasm. It contains various organelles, proteins, and nutrients essential for the cell's functions. Cytoplasm helps to support and protect the cell's internal structures.
A cytoplasm is like the gel-like substance in a jelly donut, surrounding and supporting the organelles within a cell.
It is called cytoplasm. It is the matrix
its white creamy colour. they also ejaculate a thick gel kind of white substance, this isn't semen, the boar ejaculates it after ejaculating the semen. this thick gel substance is what prevents the semen from coming out.

Bone marrow is the gel-like substance that produces blood cells. It is found within the bone.
I believe you're thinking of cytoplasm. It contains all the organelles of a cell and it can sometimes be described a gel-like, although cells are microscopic and this observation would be hard to make at such a microscopic size.

adhere to surfaces and form colonies. It also protects them from harmful environmental conditions and helps them to access nutrients. The gel-like substance is often referred to as a biofilm or extracellular matrix.
