An autotroph such as a photosynthetic cell produces it's own food. Once produced through photosynthesis, the food needs to be used as in cellular respiration. Hetertroph, such as animals do not produce their own food. They must consume the food produced by the autotrophs or consume the heterotrophs that have consumed the food produced by the autotrophs.
Plants- To make oxygen which is used in Respiration
Animals- To produce ATP which is used as energy
with enzyme.Cellular respiration need glucose. This glucose is produced in photosynthesis
aerobic respiration. You need sun for photosynthesis to occur
They can be thought of as the 'reverse' of each other (though their repective biochemical pathways are in no ways similar) and are the two halves of the carbon cycle. Respiration: Glucose + Oxygen -> Carbon dioxide + Water Photosynthesis: Carbon dioxide + Water -> Glucose +Oxygen
Cellular respiration utilizes 02 and gives of co2. Both plant and cell cells carry out respiration and both processes utilize an electron transplant chain for ATP production. Only plant cells photosynthesize and photosynthesis reduce co2 to carbohydrates and release 02
Well plants are autotrophs, so photosynthesis is how they eat, because it is obviously visible plants do not have mouths. We don't need photosynthesis because we eat food like twinkies and meat to get our energy. Respiration is something every eukaryote (plant/animal/fungi/protist) needs to do.
A cell needs the products of cellular respiration, which is water and oxygen.
Photosynthesis takes place in chloroplast.Respiration takes place in mitochondria.
plant cells need photosynthesis and respiration to create energy for cell work, reproduction, and repairs.
with enzyme.Cellular respiration need glucose. This glucose is produced in photosynthesis
Photosynthesis provides glucose and oxygen in order for cellular respiration to occur.
Cellular respiration is possible without photosynthesis in an organism but photosynthesis is not possible without cellular respiration.
True. Plants need photosynthesis for food production. Respiration is for energy production
Yes.Cellular respiration always need glucose. So if photosynthesis stops, organisms cannot respire
For plant respiration and photosynthesis.
Chemical reactions occur in respiration, photosynthesis, and more life processes. Respiration and photosynthesis are both essential for life to exist.
Chloroplast is needed for photosynthesis. Mitochondria is needed for respiration
Aerobic respiration requires oxygen to produce energy and expels carbon dioxide. This ultimately depends on photosynthesis, because plants take the carbon dioxide out of the air and use it for photosynthesis, which expels oxygen into the air as waste.
