I spoke to customer service at a major distributor of ready made frosting. They told me it is a "quality issue" not a "safety issue" that you not eat outdated frosting. In my case, I'm only baking something fun for myself, so I determined that so long as it tastes okay - which it does - then I'll go ahead and eat it. The Customer Service Rep assured me there is nothing in it to make me sick as a result of the expired date, they are concerned with it not being as high quality expired as it is when fresh. The way I look at it, there's enough stuff in it to make me sick even when it's fresh, but I like the taste so I'm treating myself! I intentionally am not stating the name of the major distributor because if someone else happens to have a bad experience with outdated frosting, I don't want the manufacturer held responsible. It is all on you - whoever choses to eat it expired. And I do so....enjoy!
anything can make you sick
It depends on what the bugs are, but bugs in grits probably can't make you sick.
Constipation doesn't exactly make you feel sick. Constipation is just when your stomach doesn't agree with what you had and starts working up something that makes you feel constipated. So, constipation doesn't make you feel sick. IT just depends on how constipated you are.

No.. Eating a large amount of frosting on its own isn't good for you anyway (its alot of sugar and over all can make you sick) adding flour wont take that away.
Once it's completely cold you can start frosting! Otherwise it will make the frosting runny.

Use a chocolate cream cheese frosting.
Frosting is made with sugar - usually confectioners' sugar - liquid and butter. Flour is not used in making frosting.
