There are none still alive. They went extinct somewhere between 1662 and 1693. the exact date of their extinction is disputed. They died out because humans over-hunted them and destroyed their habitat. When the Dodo birds were discovered they were already endangered because of a recent flash flood on their habitats.

It was a bird easily hunted. Men with clubs were able to approach the bird close enough to club it to death.

The last claimed sighting of a dodo was reported in the hunting records of Isaac Johannes Lamotius in 1688. Statistical analysis of these records by Roberts and Solow gives a new estimated extinction date of 1693, with a 95% confidence interval of 1688-1715. As this is over 300 years ago, the answer must be no, the dodo is long dead! Many of the dodos living when man first found them were eaten.
