Can we have a parrot as a pet?

Do you like being pooped on, a lot? Do you like bits of food and water splashed in and around the cage? Can you tolerate loud screeches here and there? If you answered no to any of these, than no they are not. Many people obtain parrots mainly because they can talk. The do not just start talking, you have to teach them how. The are high maintenance animals. They need a lot of attention, even more so if you only own one as they are highly social animals.

yes it would actually help the parrots because out in the wilderness it can get shot or it wiil starve without food. but if we are keeping parrots as pets we have to buy 2 or none

we have 2 keep the both parrots the same gender if you dont want more parrots

or

keep the opposite gender if you want more parrots

and never buy a small one cause they always die keep atleast a parrot of 4 months

i had kept a baby parrot of 1 day n my neighbours told me that we have to make them eat yellow ceral so made them eat n they died in 1 week vet doc told me that they eat glucose and ceralac

Yes there. If it is just you and your husband then get an African Grey Parrot and if you have small children then i suggest a paragket

parrot is an awesome choice for a pet. they are so cute and can also learn the human language. it is lots of fun to spend time with a parrot. there is no chance of you getting bored at home
