I can't think of anyway an eagle would help humans directly. But, being a top predator in the food chain helps keep a balance in the populations of certain animals they would normally eat in the wild. Unfortunately the Bald Eagle and other top predators in the wild need our help tremendously more.
Bald Eagles are not extinct.
Humans.
humans
they are killed by humans!
it is against the law to kill bald eagles so that would really help them
Humans (especially hunters) kill bald eagles by hunting,(shooting) and destruction in their environment.
Eagles do not hibernate. Birds don't hibernate.
Bald eagles are typically about 2.5 to 3 feet tall and have a wingspan of 6 to 7.5 feet. In comparison, adult bald eagles are larger than most humans, with an average weight of 8 to 14 pounds.
humans , larger birds and bald eagles
Humans are the top cause of death for the bald eagles that and habitat loss.
Occasionally a Great Horned Owl or raccoon in the nest is a threat to the nestlings. Very few other than humans, except for other eagles attacking eagles and young.
Yes, they are. Bald Eagles were close to extinction in the past, but some laws were made and they have made a huge come back.
