Bald eagles are often born with one or two siblings, although usually they won't all survive. They live in the largest nest of any North American bird. The nest is made of branches and each year, the parents add more material to it before they lay eggs. For that reason, a bald eagle nest may be up to 13 feet deep, 8 feet across, and weigh 1.1 tons! These nests are usually built in trees near a body of water, but if there are no trees in an area where the bald eagles live, they nest on the ground. Like most birds, bald eagle chicks don't play, and they simply wait for their next meal of regurgitated meat and/or fish. Once they reach about 12 weeks of age, surviving bald eagle chicks will take their first flight.

The eagle is the national bird of the USA, for the same reason it's the symbol of many nations. It's big, strong, real, majestic, and it's mentioned in the Bible in several phrases. In many ways, the eagle is the bird of the food chain. I think at one time Thomas Jefferson wanted the dove to be the national bird, and Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey, but, according to the play/movie; "1776", John Adams wanted the eagle and got his way.
The United States national bird is the bald eagle. Until the introduction of the State Quarter designs and Presidential dollars, all coins of 25¢ and above were required to have an eagle as part of the reverse design.
WolfQuest and Fly like a bird. Wolfquest is amazing.
The play The Bald Soprano was written by Eugène Ionesco.
The Bald Soprano, is, in fact, a whole play.
The decline in the bald eagle population can disrupt the ecological balance, as eagles are apex predators that help regulate populations of their prey, such as fish and small mammals. Their absence may lead to overpopulation of these species, resulting in increased competition for resources and potential negative impacts on vegetation and other wildlife. Additionally, as scavengers, eagles play a role in nutrient cycling; their decline may affect scavenger species that rely on their leftover food sources. Overall, the decline of bald eagles can have cascading effects throughout the ecosystem.
Primarily size and coloring, but the area of the world you are in and what time of the year it is play an important role in proper identification of any bird, as they usually spotted "on the wing". An eagle's nest is usually quite large- 8 feet in diameter or even larger.

Bald Eagles are on the top of the food chain. Top predators, if you will. This means that they have no predators (some people classify humans as a known predator though). Bald Eagles diet's consist mainly of fish. Although they will also eat other small game, including other birds. Bald Eagles are also Carrion eaters, which means they will eat animals/meat that is already dead (like scavengers). So, if you were to construct a Bald Eagle food chain, the Eagle would be at the top, then small game, such as rabbits, birds, and fish, then insects and plants. Of course you could add more, that's just a rough example... Hope that helps.
