It would be hard to keep a conure and an amazon together even if they were young and raised together. If they are not in the same cage, it really isn't a problem. They may try to out talk or scream each other, but I would expect that to settle down after a while. If the cage was big enough so that they each had their own space they might get along, but there would still be fights.

There is a huge difference in size. Sun conures and Green Cheek Conures are both small parrots, only slightly bigger than parakeets. An Amazon is a medium sized bird and will most likely kill the smaller Conures.
