How do eagles help humans?

I can't think of anyway an eagle would help humans directly. But, being a top predator in the food chain helps keep a balance in the populations of certain animals they would normally eat in the wild. Unfortunately the Bald Eagle and other top predators in the wild need our help tremendously more.
