How do you breed an cockatoo? First you must have a female cockatoo and male cockatoo. Second, you have to separate them into two bird cages that fit them. This will allow the two birds to get along and not fight, it may take a while. Male cockatoos are very mean and like to bite, pick and kill female cockatoos. You also have to give a lot of attention to both the male and female. Also buying two playgrounds for your birds will help by getting the birds to know each other. After a while you may put the birds together in one huge cage. Becareful, the male cockatoo do give a mean bite to a person who enters their cage. They are either protecting their terrority, female mate or if they had little birds. After the little birds are born, they will come out bare. Take them out of the parent cockatoo cage and place them in a cage that may been heated. If you want a cuddly bird that will hug up to you start feeding the young ones by hand.
