This is funny because my dad and i bought chickens 3 months ago. But we have a chicken pen and we usually leave the door open until they get in. Because they usually walk together in groups. Or just pick them up 1 at a time and set them in the chicken pen or coup.

How many chicken in a 8' x 8?

You can house 16 chickens in an 8' x 8' chicken coop if the chickens are also allowed to free range or have access to an outdoor scratch yard. In this case, they only need about four square feet apiece as the coop itself is used primarily for nesting, roosting at night, and shelter in bad weather. If the coop is the chickens' only environment and they do not have outdoor access, they will need about 10 square feet each, meaning that a hen house of this size could comfortably house six chickens.

How many chickens can live in one chicken house on average how many can die in one day?

Well it depends on how big your chicken house is, and if the house is heated. chickens do not require alot of space, but depending on what you want your chickens for, the happier the chicken, the more the eggs. chickens will not lay eggs when they are stressed. and as far as how many can die in a day, that's completely out of anyones hands. they could all die in one night. do keep in mind though you should expect some deaths, average of about 1 a week. hope this answers your questions. I used to raise chickens, so if you need anymore information, please feel free to message me. Chev_Camaro_94 [morpheus@iowatelecom.net]
