You buy a cage, 4 feeders, a mini bathtub (for them to take a bath in), some toys (ladders, mirrors, swingsets, and bells), birdseed (You have to make sure it says parakeet on it or else they'll get very sick), and some treats like millet, biscuits, and fruits. They'll eat almost anything as long as it's not fried and has no spices. Next, you put the cage on a table set everything up (one feeder for seeds one for water for each bird), put the birds in, then close the doors. You have to interact with them every day and change their food and water every day. Another thing you have to do is put newspaper on the bottom of their cage. After about a month, you can open the cage doors and leave them open with twist-ties. (Make sure your cat or dog can't reach them!)
