To treat an open duck wound, first clean the area gently with saline solution or clean water to remove debris. Apply an antiseptic ointment to prevent infection, then cover the wound with a sterile bandage or dressing. Monitor the wound for signs of infection, such as swelling or discharge, and consult a veterinarian for further treatment if necessary. Ensure the duck is kept in a clean, stress-free environment to promote healing.
