sometimes hundreds of miles.the ring billed gull is certainly a wanderlust species.they have been seen here in nc in the mountains,some 400 miles inland.

Yes, Seagulls have a weak membrame over their eyes and after many years of salt water diving this damages the membrame and causes blindness. The offspring of the gull will then carry on feeding their parents until they get bored and have to kill them through kamikaze cliff smashing or leading them out to the ocean to starve. Seagulls are evil. Simply look into their blind eyes.
