The incubation of a chicken egg takes 21 days. There is no way to hasten this process. Under optimum conditions of 100.5 F and 70% humidity, all the viable eggs will peep(hatch) within 24 hours on day 21. Over the course of that 21 days, sudden changes in incubator temperature, low humidity can cause a late or poor hatch.
There are many wild birds, and they are very different, so the hatch (note - hatCh) times vary depending on the species. For example, Ostrich eggs take 40 to 45 days of incubation to hatch, the Emperor Penguin takes 64-67 days, and most hummingbirds' eggs take only 8-12 days to hatch. Of course, if an egg is not incubated properly or it is not fertilized, it may never hatch -- however, it most likely could make a very nice omelette or souffle if it hasn't been sitting around too long :>) There are many wild birds, and they are very different, so the hatch (note - hatCh) times vary depending on the species. it take my bird 12 to 20 days to hatch the egg

It depends on the species of bird that laid it, how cold for how long and how far incubated the egg is, but eggs can be left to cool for surprisingly long periods if incubated - in some species it can be days, but most it can be an hour or so. Under ideal storage conditions, fertile eggs from many species of bird will remain viable, if not incubated previously, for a month.
depends on the fish.
