Depending on the species, and whether they are male or female, quolls range in weight from 300 grams to 7 kilograms.

The smallest species of quoll is the Northern quoll. Females can be as little as 300g and males can weigh up to a kilogram. The largest species is the Spotted tail quoll, or tiger quoll. Females average 1.5 to 2kg but may weigh up to 4kg, while males average 3-4kg, but may be as much as 7kg.
