There is some debate concerning the average lifespan of a Bald Eagle, but most reports agree that wild eagles live between 15 and 20 years old in the wild, while captive eagles live longer. In fact, it was recorded that captive eagles had lived to be 48 years old, but it appears the average is more along the lines of 30 to 35 years of age.
