Hi Probably not. If you found a bird it is probably injured and in a case of shock, which means it will not eat and it is probably going to die. Unless you are a vet, if it should heal, it will probably be unable to walk or fly. In that case, it would certainly die back in the wild, so I suppose you (and it) have nothing to lose by trying to keep it, unless you have a cat, in which case you probably don't have a bird but a meal. Your biggest problem will be to get it to eat. Maybe a little bread dipped in milk would work, but be prepared for the worst. Of course, if you "found a bird" and it's a healthy Scarlet Macaw worth about 2000 bucks, you are probably going to see signs around about a lost bird named Scarlet. In which case, keeping it is more a moral question than anything else. But, their cages are big and expensive, and they make a lot of mess. Phil
