I consider seeing a dead bird, or crossing paths with a dead bird as a bad omen for sure.
I've had a terrible last couple months, and I've also seen more dead birds this summer than I've ever seen in my whole life.
I was working on a movie set when I saw the first one... a week later I lost my job. Then my apartment flooded in the floods of 08 here in the Midwest and I was forced to move, then my fiancee went to the hospital and stayed for a week due to a serious head injury.
I'm working right now, and I just went out for a cigarette... and bam, dead bird, right on the sidewalk. Maybe I'm paranoid, maybe I'm superstitious, maybe I just have really bad luck, but I strongly believe that dead birds are a bad omen.
No. It just means a bird is in your tree.
Yes most people consider a dead bird in the house as the sign of a bad omen. Birds are considered by some to be the harbingers of death.
it means the Rabbit Mafia has it out for you.....
It is not any kind of omen.
It is not an omen, it is not even particularly lucky either
There is currently no evidence to support that a dead fox was either a bad or good omen.
Birds die like any other animal. There is no need to look for symbolic meaning in ordinary events.
symbolism
Any strange or unusual events can be thought of as Omen's. Depending on who is reading them they can be viewed as good or bad omens. No reason why a seer would say that birds flying into each other wasn't an omen.
You have some powerful deadly gas Daniel San
Well, honey, finding a dead red-headed woodpecker on your porch is just nature doing its thing. It's not an omen, it's just a sign that the bird met its unfortunate end. Maybe keep an eye out for any predators lurking around your property, but don't go reading too much into it.
