The Griffon Vulture is a bird of prey. Itâ??s large with wingspans up to nine feet and can weigh as much as 25 pounds. Like other birds in its classification, it is a scavenger. Griffon Vultures survive off the bodies of carcasses which they locate by soaring over areas.
