A bird is solid......... liquids have no definite shape..........birds do.
Paint is liquid when you buy it, before you paint something with it, but when it dries it becomes a solid. Tea is liquid when brewed, although tea leaves are solid. A bird's nest, carrots, flowers, a helmet, or books are all solid objects.
All birds nests are a solid state of matter (not liquid, gas or plasma), constructed predominantly from solids (leaves, twigs, bark, etc) however, depending on the species of bird, the nest itself can be quite fragile and/or full of holes, so would not be considered "solid".
A bird's nest is called a "nest."

Well, darling, a bird's nest is technically neither a solid frame nor a shell structure. It's more of a woven structure made from twigs, grass, and other materials, providing a cozy home for our feathered friends. So, in short, it's a nest, not a frame or a shell. Hope that clears things up for you, honey.

Oh, dude, a bird is none of those things! It's a living, breathing creature that flies around and poops on your car when you least expect it. So, like, next time you see a bird, just remember it's definitely not a solid, liquid, or gas - it's just a bird being a bird.

A nest, or a bird house.
I have never heard of a bird making a nest in a bird bath. I believe they only make nests in trees. I wouldn't worry about a bird making a nest in your bird bath. It's more used as a decoration.
