I'm sure its fine as long as you rinse it out really good... but they also sell those types of things at your convenient Petco or PetSmart
Well parakeets need to be out of their cage for t least an hour a day, you can have it out longer but if your bird is one that does not like to be messed with I would suggest letting it on top of the cage and carring it just occasionaly.
yes!
soak it in soapy water for awhile and then you can put it in the dish washer (if it's dish washer safe) or wash it by hand. :)
It your parakeet lays two eggs on the botton of the cage, you might as well just leave them alone. By know you should have a nest in the cage. it is a big box in the cage with a whole in it. we got one a couple days ago cause my bird laid 4 eggs!!!! i know it is crazy. Well, good luck with your parakeet!!! Essa
No why ask this?
birds on the ground are in the preditors zone . so if given a choice no they wouldn't nest there. but if that's where it's at they might . but they will never feel safe there.
To clean and maintain a bird cage bottom tray effectively, you can follow these steps: Remove your bird from the cage and place it in a safe area. Take out any toys, perches, and food/water dishes from the cage. Dispose of any soiled bedding or droppings in the tray. Use a mild soap and warm water to scrub the tray thoroughly. Rinse the tray with clean water and dry it completely before putting it back in the cage. Consider using a pet-safe disinfectant to further sanitize the tray. Replace the bedding in the tray regularly to keep it clean and fresh. By following these steps regularly, you can ensure a clean and healthy environment for your bird.
It is not recommended to clean any pet cage with anything other than warm water, as anything else can endanger your pet's health and life. Visit PetProductsByRoyal.com for some great rabbit cages!
First, take the guinea pig out and put it in a box or carrier. Use gloves and a shovel to deposite all the contents of the cage into a bin bag. Spray with pet-safe freshening spray. Wipe dry with kitchen roll. Take a lot of sawdust and sprinkle it around the cage. (fresh sawdust!) Take some hay and put it in the bed part. Put cage top back on. Put toys and food dish back in. Clip the water bottle on the side of the cage. Let in your guinea pig.
I'd say an aquarium. It's safe (escape proof), easy to clean, and you have easy access to your pet.
What i use is dish soap, it cleans the particles off, and everything, but if you start using the dish soap, dont start using anything else, cause it wont recinize the thing, and it will get stressed... Hamsters, are some odd!. but i love love love my tinsel
It is recommended to clean your hamster's cage once a week by removing soiled bedding, uneaten food, and any waste. A deep cleaning of the cage, including washing with a pet-safe cleaner, should be done once a month to ensure your hamster's living environment remains clean and odor-free.
