Is legend of the guardians scary?

There are a lot of scenes at St. Aggies where the owlets are forced to work extremely hard. The moon blinking scene can be very intense for younger viewers, as this is supposed to brainwash the owls, (technically killing them). Soren and Kludd get attacked by a wolf, but escape, and the end scene is violent as the owls are fighting each other. Try to keep the age level above 9 or 10.
