Vultures are scavengers, and any dead animal is food for them. They will even feed on garbage at dumps.
No animals prey on Vultures because they are the top of the food chain.
Of course! It is like a food chain. :P
from what i know, is they scavenge off of other animals corpuses
they have special micronisms in there stomach
If you mean vultures - then yes. Vultures feed more on dead animals (including snakes) than catching their own food.
Vultures often scavenge for food leaving the bones of many animals behind, this leaves the land to break down the bones into the soil.
Vultures use a different tactic, which they eat dead animals because they have no defense, and generally the "food" or meat in the animal is already exposed which makes the operation of eating much easier. Vultures are also referred to "scavengers".
Humans eat Vultures!!!
All vultures are carrion eaters (they eat the remains of dead animals but do not kill these animals themselves). There role is to tidy up the environment as things die. To help them do this turkey vultures have one of the best developed senses of smell in the animal kingdom so that they can smell out dead animals in the jungle where the dead animal can not be seen from above because of the tree cover.
Most dead plants can be eaten. Otherwise it will break up, turn into dirt, and provide frest dirt for more plants to live on. Dead animals are food for scavengers, like vultures, hyenas, and more. SOmetimes lions eat food that is already dead. Uneaten dead animals can also turn to dirt.
Vultures eat carrion, meaning dead animals.
Vultures - not one of my favorite animals. They eat dead stuff (animals) so it can decay faster.
