Plight of the Peregrines - 2009 was released on: USA: 26 April 2009
No. Peregrines don't eat songbirds. Only a very few songbirds are in any trouble now.
Peregrines chiefly hunt birds such as starlings, pigeons, blackbirds, jays, shorebirds, and waterfowl, but will rarely take mammals, reptiles, or insects. Peregrines may use a variety of hunting techniques, but typically prey is captured in the air after fast pursuit or a rapid dive to catch the prey.
A peregrine falcon is not nocturnal, peregrines that are living in or near cities have been seen to hunt in the dark when they have to feed a nest, but this is not common behaviour
They put a tracker on it! Woohoo!
Padraig Pearses GAA Roscommon was created in 1962.

Yes, all birds molt when their feathers wear out.
Don't know don't care :P
It depends on which type of hawk you mean. Accipiters like the Cooper's hawk, primarily feed on other birds. Buteos like red tailed hawks feed mainly on rodents. Falcons like peregrines eat mainly birds, but the smaller falcons like the kestrel eat mice and insects as well.
