Wild rabbits eat grass, plants, corn, seeds, apple slices, vegetables such as cabbage, romaine, escarole, turnip, collard, kale, parsley, thyme, cilantro, dandelion and basil, pretty much anything that is already there for them to find.

Wild baby field rabbits need milk from the mom until they are old enough to eat solid food. If lost they will not live on other animals milk.
