To be honest I'm not really sure as I was never in this kind situation, but I do have 4 birds at home I do read and am very interested in birds. So if it happens that you see a baby bird in the garden you first should see if his her mother is anywhere then if the bird is left there on it's own get box put a towel in box and a hot water bottle ,then you should contact your local vet, if you do not know how to contact a vet you may go to a nearby petshop and they would definitely help you out.

Eating is the least of its troubles. Find a licensed animal rehab organization that can care for it properly.
Geese reproduce by mating together. The female goose will then lay the fertilized eggs in the nest. Geese will mate for life and are monogamous.
In areas where sea turtles nest, baby turtles are often preyed on by gulls as they struggle to reach the water after hatching. Usually the sheer numbers of baby turtles overwhelm the predators, and some always make it to the safety of the sea. Also, the term is "gull', not "seagull".
Baby mice are adorable. I love them! You can tell the difference by searching around for their mother and if you can't find her wait in the shadows. If she still doesn't return it means they have been abandoned. Save those mice!
