The Serama Bantam, or Malaysian Serama Bantam, is a recently recognized breed. It weighs and average of 12.3oz (350g) and 8-9 inches (20-23cm) tall, and does not breed true to size. The breed was first introduced into the USA in 2000. It comes in all colors and do not breed true to any one color. They make colorful variety flock. Like other chickens, they mature at 16-18 weeks and have an egg incubation time of 19-21 days.
