If a dog eats a baby fly, it is generally not harmful, as flies are not toxic to dogs. Most dogs have strong digestive systems that can handle small insects without issue. However, if the fly was carrying parasites or harmful bacteria, there could be a slight risk of gastrointestinal upset. If a dog shows signs of distress, such as vomiting or diarrhea, it's best to consult a veterinarian.

Wait untill they fly off....
I have two dogs and they have both eaten flies. The dog either smashes it and then eats its or catches it in mid air. If they smash it, it stays flat all the way down. If they catch it in mid air, they swallow it alive and it dies in there stomach because of the stomach acids and digestion. That's pretty much it. :D
