Penguins have become endangered because of a number of factors. To save them we need to address each factor as best we can. Some factors are easier to manage than others.

Penguins need food, a safe place to breed and the chance to meet. To have food, penguins need access to the ocean, without set nets or polution and with available fish within their swimming range. A safe place to breed means protection from the weather for the chicks and protection from predators for the penguins. To socialize, penguins need to be free, in the wild and in their natural range.

Penguins go extinct by dying one at a time. Because of this, here at Katiki point, we have a penguin hospital. You can find out more at www.penguins.org.nz

penguins need to have everything they need to surivive just like us humans do we have to have courage to stop all of this extinction
