OK, if you have a dog this is going to be easy but if not then i don't know. So, do you know how for some pet dogs they are in a wire cage, a happy kennel thing? Well go to a ranch store and ask for dog cage panels. They are about 5ft long and 6ft tall so if you get those the your gonna need a lot of chicken wire unless you want to clip your birds wings.

When determining the appropriate size for a hamster cage, factors to consider include the hamster's size, activity level, and need for space to move around and exercise. A cage that is at least 24 inches by 12 inches is typically recommended for optimal comfort and well-being of the pet. Additional levels or tunnels can provide more space for the hamster to explore and play.

The ideal size for a hamster cage is at least 360 square inches of floor space, with a minimum of 12 inches in height. This size allows for proper ventilation, room to exercise, and space for enrichment activities to keep your pet healthy and happy.
