In the late spring and early summer! ;)
lady birds lay their eggs all through the year particularly in spring but they don't lay their eggs near the end of summer due to normally eating and dieing about this time.
Two Eggs
Yes, a duck can lay eggs more than one a year. I have ducks and chickens that lay eggs daily. (I know that some birds, if their eggs are damaged or ruined in the early stages of nesting, will lay more eggs, most often in a different nest location. Robins and pigeons do it all the time...well, each spring, anyhow). most birds can do it from 1-4 times per year. In the wild, birds lay eggs twice a yr.(House Wrens will build as many nests as they can before the season changes.)
4-6They usually lay between 4-6 eggs per egg laying periods.
Unlike other birds, they nest very early. Usually as early as end of March.
because that's only when insects come out and trees grow big and strong
Do pigeons lay egges in the winter time? (other person) I believe they could lay eggs at any time of year.
2-6 eggs a year
i don't think they lay eggs
How long a free ranger will lay eggs depends first on the breed of chicken, production hens will lay more eggs for a longer period of time than dual purpose, rare or heritage breed birds. After breed of hen then environmental issues such as housing, time of year, nutrition, day light length all play an important part in laying eggs. But generally, assuming you have adult heritage birds you should see them laying eggs beginning in February or March and ending in October or November each year.
all breeds of pigeons will lay two eggs at a time always being male and female when they hatch. it is very rare to get two females or two males from one set of eggs. the parents will lay a batch of two eggs a few times a year!!Wood-pigeons lay several clutches of two eggs per year from March to September
In summer
