They do. I saw one several times in the summer of 2010 feeding at our lilies.

I can confirm this, I also spotted hummingbirds among the flowers in front of my house in Manchester New Hampshire around 1990 or so... John R. D.

When do we put out feeders for hummingbirds in Kentucky?

In Kentucky, it's best to put out hummingbird feeders in mid to late March, as this is when ruby-throated hummingbirds typically begin to return from their winter migration. To ensure the feeders are ready when the birds arrive, it's advisable to have them cleaned and filled with a sugar-water solution (1 part sugar to 4 parts water) before their expected arrival. Keeping the feeders up until mid-October can also help support any late-migrating hummingbirds.

If I leave my Humming Bird Feeder for a few days will the Humming Birds die?

When do you stop feeding hummingbirds in Connecticut?

Whenever there are no more hummingbirds to feed. Hummingbirds migrate by internal calendars based on day length, no food availability, so leaving your feeder out will not stop them from migrating, A good rule of thumb is to leave your feeder up until two weeks after the first hard frost to provide extra energy for late-migrating hummingbirds.
