It's not a matter of one being better than the other. It's based upon individual preference based upon the care and upkeep of a particular pet. Ferrets are a very high maintenance pet and can by very expense to maintain. You need to learn about the care and habits of any pet you are interested in having.
Depends on numerous factors - the size of the ferret, the kind of bird your are feeding your ferret, etc
Are ferrets from Canada better than ? A ferret is a ferret, depends on the breeder
No, a ferret is not a bird. A ferret is a carnivorous animal which means they eat meat and eggs. Ferrets give birth to live you and feed them milk which makes them mammals. They are closely related to weasels, mink, ermine and martens.
Depends, The ferret might attack the chicken or the chicken might peck the ferret. But it really depends.
yes a cat is a lot better than a ferret. Cats are cute and cuddly are very nice and i love them! that's MY opinion on this question.
A ferret might possibly eat a snake, depending on the size. Or a large snake might perceive a ferret as prey. Other animals that a ferret might perceive as prey and should not be together are birds, snakes, gerbils, hamsters, mice and rats. from another contributor: i had a ferret that ate a bird! =) ferrets are cool. yeah they eat snakes
Lots of things are unsafe for a ferret to do. Ferrets should usually be supervised. Here are three of them:Dont let your ferret eat something suspicious. If you see your ferret eat something suspicious, try to pry it out of your ferret's mouth and don't let your ferret eat it. If your ferret eats it, it could cause indigestion for your ferret, and indigestion is not pretty.Dont let your ferret outside unsupervised. This is one the unsafest things you could do, because ferrets are not cats. Once they're gone, they're gone for good.Dont let your ferret "play" around with your smaller pets, like a bird or hamster. Ferrets tend to bite a lot and you could cause harm to your littler pets. And I don't think blood is good for your ferret!Well, three isn't alot but I hope they helped, I guess!
They certainly would do, given a chance - if you have a caged bird, it'd be a good idea to keep a ferret away from it because birds fit easily into the category of things ferrets instinctively hunt. In the wild, polecats (ferrets' ancestors) will eat birds occasionally but they don't form a large part of the animal's diet because birds have much better eyesight than ferrets and will fly away before the ferret is even aware there's a bird nearby. However, they do occasionally get into chicken sheds and will also kill and eat game birds confined to pens.
a ferret but get one as a baby not one that has been hunting and is slightly older because you could get bitten( but you could get bitten by a minks as well):)
A Ferret kit is a baby Ferret.
I have a newsflash for you... A chicken is a bird.
No. They will not harm your ferret unless your ferret eats them.
