Natures Escalators: rising warm air travels in a lazy spiral allowing many birds, grass seeds, insects etc a free ride to heights significant enough to allow a good glide into the distance. A pelican rising 100metres could glide for about a mile with minimal effort. This is an evolutionary advantage for large birds so they can travel between distant seasonal food sources.
they mostly fly but the can walk as well
Only if they are of the specie Gatensby
Pelicans fly in formation to conserve energy and increase their aerodynamic efficiency. Flying in a V-formation reduces air resistance for the birds behind the leader, allowing them to fly more efficiently and cover longer distances.
Pelicans at least.
No. I don't think you can. Actually, I am sure that you can't. Sorry.

Probably "Will it go 'Round In Circles" by Billy Preston.
Flies fly in circles because of their compound eyes, which can detect movement and light. This causes them to constantly adjust their flight path, leading to circular movements.
Yes they do fly,I know this because pelicans swoop down to catch fishes to eat.
