Is the bird male or female? If the bird is male, it is more a matter of disipline than likeableness. If the bird is female- think for a minute. Imagine many women, you unmarried and they too, and one male. Also, if the bird is between 2-3 1/2, then it is at a nippy stage. If it is new, it may be a bad habbit. Or stress. Or how you treat it. Just think about it. ( Similair experience with my Dad and the Girls in the family, a male and female Green Cheek Conuures)

Could be a Green-Cheek Conure.
A green cheek conure can be taught to refrain from biting by removing the bird and placing them back in their cage with a cover on. They dislike the isolation. The bird should never be allowed to be higher than the human.
YES! DON'T YOU DARE FEED IT TO YOUR BIRDIES!
i think he's taking a shower but i could be wrong
No. No animal, exept fish, are "GOOD" for a child with asthma.
There is a huge difference in size. Sun conures and Green Cheek Conures are both small parrots, only slightly bigger than parakeets. An Amazon is a medium sized bird and will most likely kill the smaller Conures.
The scientific name of a green cheek conure is Pyrrhura molinae. This small parrot is known for its playful personality and vibrant plumage, primarily featuring green feathers with touches of blue, red, and yellow. Green cheek conures are popular pets due to their affectionate nature and ability to mimic sounds. They are native to South America, particularly in countries like Brazil and Bolivia.
No they are a very beautiful almost iridescent bird being a beautiful green on the back. Undersides can change from different subspecies. Also hence the name they have green patches on their cheeks. This is coming from a green cheek conure owner.
The female green cheek conyer will rub her vent on an object. While the male will mount an object, usually their owner, to display his want to mate. This process is called masterbation.
Huh. When there is no heartbeat or breathing AT ALL you know it has passed. If it hasn't come out of his/her nesting box or bed, the bird MIGHT have eggs.
The life cycle of a green cheek conure begins with the egg stage, where females lay 3 to 7 eggs that incubate for about 21 to 28 days. Once hatched, the chicks are altricial, meaning they are born blind and featherless, relying on their parents for warmth and food. They fledge at around 6 to 8 weeks old and become independent around 3 to 4 months. Green cheek conures typically reach sexual maturity between 1 to 3 years of age and can live up to 20 years or more in captivity.
It is possible that she is preparing to lay eggs or, if you can't see the whole cage, she might already have them.
