To replace the slides on a 2003 Ski-Doo MXZ, first, lift the rear of the snowmobile and secure it. Remove the track by loosening the track tension bolts and sliding the track out of the tunnel. Then, take out the old slides by unscrewing them from the rear suspension, and install the new slides by aligning them and securing them with screws. Finally, reinsert the track, adjust the tension, and ensure everything is properly aligned before testing.

Hotwiring a snowmobile, like an MXZ Skidoo, is illegal and considered theft. Manufacturers design these vehicles with anti-theft mechanisms to prevent unauthorized use. If you’re having trouble starting your snowmobile, it’s best to consult the owner’s manual or contact a professional mechanic for assistance. Always prioritize legal and ethical methods for vehicle operation.

To remove the seat on a 1993 Skidoo Formula MXZ, first locate the seat mounting bolts, typically found at the rear of the seat. Use a socket wrench to unscrew these bolts. Once they are removed, gently lift the rear of the seat and slide it forward to disengage it from the mounting brackets at the front. Be cautious not to force it, as this could damage the seat or the brackets.

Not sure the exact amount but enough to get mine going 100 easily with a very worn track.... my research has found the 99 mxz 600 puts out 108 hp as this engine was new to the market and it was somewhat diappointing to skidoo fans because the other sleds were making more power . in the 2000 model year skidoo made changes to the cylinders and tuned pipe for more power....
117 hp
