Standard emergency blow air tanks hold 3000psi air in them. However, they aren't normally used; during normal surfacing operations, a boat comes to periscope depth, raises its snorkel mast, then forces the water out using a Low Pressure Blower, which is essentially just a large hi-capacity fan. Sea pressure isn't that much above 100', so it takes a lot less pressure to force the water out with the LPB.
It is used for detecting submarines under water.
Submarines are built with a special design that allows them to be faster underwater. Submarines can be used during a war as a way to sneak up to enemy lines in the water, but still stay hidden.

periscope
They were used in the first world war in submarines. The are used now also for submarines and also war tanks. The outer coating of the periscope for the submarines were firm and waterproof for protection from the water pressure. As for the war tank the periscope is able to turn 360 degrees.
Because Submarines don't fly very well.
During WW2, all the major countries involved used submarines.
It is the water pump.
Water gun; Hydro pump.
They were used by submarines to navigate when not in open waters, They were also used by submarines and anti-submarine ships to locate enemy submarines.
To determine the cost of electricity used by the well pump of a shared well you could: 1) run the pump's electrical wiring through a electrical meter. Electrical meters of sufficient wattage are available from many hardware stores. This method is fairly exact in finding out how much electricity the pump uses. Finding out how much of that electricity was used to pump your water vs their water can be determined by installation of water meters.
