The government lifeboat laws at the time of the Titanic's sinking were inadequate and failed to mandate enough lifeboats for all passengers on board. Regulations only required lifeboats for a fraction of the total capacity, prioritizing aesthetics and deck space over safety. This oversight contributed to the catastrophic loss of life during the disaster, as many passengers were left without adequate means of escape. Ultimately, the tragedy highlighted the need for stricter safety regulations in maritime law.
Titanic's sinking was not the fault of the engineers. It was not the fault of the Captain, nor the lookouts nor the crew.
Andrews, the ship designer
yes and no, also Captian Smith was involved in the crash because he speed up the ship
Captain Edward John Smith was mildly scapegoated at the British Inquiry after the sinking of Titanic but it was a matter of convenience to shift some blame to the dead guy.
It was nobody's fault, it just hit an iceberg and sank. :(
halfway through the journey of the titanic in the middle of the Atlantic ocean the metal of the titanic was at its most brittle and was easy to tear so the iceberg had no problem to rip the metal it was mostly the weathers fault it was a calm moonles night and the watchmen had no binoculars if they had seen it sooner the titanic would not have sunk
there is a myth that the titanic wasn't even called the titanic i can't remember what it was called (how embarrassing) but the captain wanted to purposely crash it so he could get the insurance money but accidentally they crashed into to the lifeboat there that was suppose to help them when they crashed so most of them died cause of the low amount of life boats cause they thought they didn't need them cause of the lifeboat there were . so it was the captains fault !
it wasnt
an ice berg.
It was not. The captain of the Carpathia was not at fault. i dont see how it would be.
It wasn't the B o T's fault that the Titanic sank. however, B o T regulations meant that there were not enough lifeboats.
it was no ones fault sometimes things like this happen
