Need the HP to answer. If 6 HP, the mixture is 100:1
Mine is 100:1, however best ring the dealership to make sure,
50:1 The Manual says 100:1 dont do that unless you want to blow your motor.
100:1
100 lbs
100 aph
The 1988 model, 28hp Johnson outboard, requires a 50:1 fuel to oil ratio. This is roughly, one pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel. If you have the same motor I have which is a 1988 Johnson 28 hp 2 stroke then the mixture is 100:1. The answer provided above is wrong. This is 8 ounces of 2 stroke oil to 6 gallons of gas. I have had this motor since it was new and it still runs great today.
anything over 100 on all cyl is fine and a good motor
Normal mixture is 1 part of oil to 50 parts of gas (50:1). If run constantly at high speed, less oil may be used, but never less than 1 part of oil to 100 parts of gas (100:1).
