Look on the web, this is a Carl Kiekhaefer (Mercury) motor only a few years older design. Carl used older design motors for Wizard outboards to not have these as good as the Mercurys. In this case not a bad thing, the older Merc's 51, 52 are very fast motors & Carl built factory racers that no one could touch on the water. These motors were labled 10 + hp depending on RPM. My friend had one of these & he could out run my Evinrude 15. I saw on eBay a racing 10 Merc very clean go for $3000.oo. The stock 10 Merc is worth about 3 to 5 hundred bucks. Many parts interchange with Wizard & Merc. Hope this helps, just don't give it up cheap before checking it out on the web.

What is the value of a good running 1972 100 HP Johnson out board motor
Not seeing a picture of the motor or the motor, I can tell you that this week I bought a 1958 5.5 hp and one in the early 50s also a 5.5 hp one I got for $45.00 the other for $65.00 But I would say the value of a motor like this is in the eyes of the collector
$1000
The value of a 50 hp Mercury, or any other outboard, is largely dependant on the age of the engine.
If it's in really good condition, about $250.
NADA good condition about two grand
75 to 400 dollars depending on condition.
