The weight of a 14' x 48" aluminum boat typically ranges from 150 to 250 pounds, depending on the design and thickness of the aluminum used. Factors such as additional features, accessories, and the specific manufacturer can also influence the total weight. For the most accurate weight, it's best to consult the manufacturer's specifications.
The weight limit for a 14 ft aluminum Jon boat typically ranges from 800 to 1,200 pounds, depending on the specific model and manufacturer. This limit includes the combined weight of passengers, gear, and any additional equipment. It's important to check the boat's capacity plate for exact specifications, as exceeding the weight limit can compromise safety and performance. Always ensure that weight distribution is balanced for optimal handling.

I have a 1974 sears 14 foot aluminum boat when I had a title search done it came back as a SEA Nymph it is actualy a 14 ft 3 inch.
Boats from different manufacturers are different. These are all 14 foot boats. A Sears Gamefisher comes in a 168 lbs. This is about as lite as they come. A welded John (squared off front, flat bottom) boat by Gizzley weighs 408 lbs. A riveted John boat by Grizzley weighs in a 113 lbs. A Tracker model weighs 480 lbs. A bass boat sold by this dealer weighs 683 lbs. You need to look at a specific boat and ask what that boats weighs.
My best guess would be about 5-8 mph
The answer is relative. I have a 4 1/2 HP motor on my 12 foot aluminum boat. It gets me where I need to go.
A weight of an 14 inch alloy wheel is about 6 or 7 kilos.
It depends on how you load the boat, (one or two persons, gear, ect.), but normally a prop in the 15" range will work for your application.....Beaufort ha
