The KX80 models produced from 1991 to 2000 share many similarities in their engine design and components. Specifically, the 1991-1993 models and the 1994-2000 models have comparable motors, although there may be slight differences in tuning and performance characteristics. It's important to verify specific parts and compatibility for any modifications or repairs. Always consult a service manual or expert for precise information on parts interchangeability.
The first year for the water-cooled KX80 was 1991.

The year of the motor is the same as the year of the car unless the original motor was replaced at some point. If that's the case, you won't know the year of the motor.
