What should an operator do when attempting to re-board a personal watercraft (PWC)
Make sure the engine is off and the PWC is right-side up. If not, follow the procedures for those conditions. Swim to the back of the PWC. Grab the grab bar or step on the boarding step if your PWC has one. Pull up onto the back of the PWC until you can get one knee on the flat part. Then use your knee and arm to pull yourself the rest of the way up onto the back of the seat. Then slide forward, put the key back in, and start it back up.
Ensure the PWC is right side up and that the engine has stopped. Swim to the back of the PWC. If the PWC has a re-boarding step, use that. If the PWC has a grab bar on the back of the seat, use that. The basic idea is to grab onto something so that you can pull yourself up enough to get your knees onto the rear deck. Once you've done that, you can pull your body up.

You probably handled it too much, or re-rolled it too much.
