Its not that the world will end its just that the Mayan calendar ends there actually, its because at December 21,2012 (the winter solstice) all the planets in our group of planets from the sun outward will all be aligned in one line.

Also another thing to look at is our calanders ened every year. And in the i heard that in The Bible it says no one knows when i will return and only a fool will wonder. I think that i think it could go both ways. who knows? but what is worrying going to do?

The Mayan calendar called the tzolkin ends on December 23,2012. The Mayan people believed that,that day was the end of the world because that is when their calender ended. But it really does not mean the end of the world is December 23,2012,the Mayan calendar ended that day so they believed that was the end of the world.
